新しいプロジェクトで、誰かの知恵を借りたい時の表現です。
A: So what was it you wanted to talk about in person? It sounded important on the phone.
B: I wanted to pick your brain about this new project. I'm finding it hard to get started.
A: 個人的に話したい事って何だったの？電話では大事な話のようだったけど。
B: 新しい計画についてお知恵を拝借したかったので。取りかかりが難しいです。
We use this expression to find out what someone thinks about or knows about a particular subject. In the example above, we can tell that person B believes that person A can help advise them about the project they discussed.
